Back in the field: The second sampling has been completed

The second part of this year’s field season has also been successfully completed. The various methods - including the use of robots for mechanical weed control - have been finished, so we were given the green light to begin sampling.

The goal of the campaign is to collect and analyze various soil parameters in order to further investigate and better understand the use of robotics in agriculture.

For our second sampling this year, we were once again on the road for several days: in Bavaria on the LfL’s land, in Lower Saxony on the IfZ’s land, and in Brandenburg on the ZALF’s land. Extensive soil samples were collected at all locations, which will now be analyzed and evaluated in the next step.
